Scrumptious Tomato, Ham and Cheese Healthy Meal Crepe

The tomato, ham and cheese meal crepe is a great way to spruce up the same ole’ sandwich.  In this crepe video, I make a much thinner crepe which gets folded into quarters to make it easier to eat.  The crepe is not only delicious, but it’s also nutritious and very inexpensive to make.

They only cost about 20 cents to make one very large crepe.  The break down is below.  If you’re pressed for time, you can make them ahead and freeze them.  Then, you’ll only need to pull one out of the freezer, warm it up for a minute or so, then make your sandwich or desert.   Stay tuned for my blog post and video on how to make them, freeze them, then warm them up.

  • 1 cup of flour –    25 cents
  • salt & sugar  –      1 cent
  • 1 egg –                    10 cents
  • milk & water –     25 cents

Cost:   $1.00 per meal

1/2 T. sugar
1 c. flour
1/4 t. salt
1 egg
3/4 c. almond coconut milk
3/4 c. water
vegan butter for cooking

Filling:  tomatoes, ham and cheese all thinly sliced.

Serves: 6-8

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

Temp:   Medium high heat on stove
